Ron Kedmi

Ron began working as a fashion photographer in the early 90’s and has since established himself as one of the most prominent visual voices coming out of Tel Aviv. Ron’s body of work can be viewed as the pure intersection between art and fashion. The point where his mastership of sculpture, painting, theater and cinema intertwine with an unmatched ability to create powerful and provocative images, that accent the inner beauty and sensitivity of his subjects. Ron’s early work coincides with a time of change brought on Israel and its cultural capital Tel Aviv, when artists began moving towards a wider visual language, that explored sex and sensuality, even if subtly, in a way that hasn’t been represented before in large scale.
